School

Well school has come around once again., but I think I am going to do pretty well this year. We are learning algebra and physics and since those are linked to creating a great game, I'm going to pay attention this time. =D

The Auto Show

The Auto show is finnaly coming to Pittsburgh! It starts today at 5pm and ends on Monday. If I go there on Saturday, it will be amazing!

Lab Work #2

Today our class had to dissect grasshoppers. We had to wear latex gloves, goggles, and of course use a scalpel. We had to first break off the wings and jumping legs. Then we had to pin the grasshopper down and it open. When we did that, we had to identify all of the organs that we could find. I did a pretty good job, but it was kind of disgusting.

Allstar Tournament

Today our school competed in the Forensics Allstar tournament. It is very special for the kids to be there because they are the best there is. The judges narrow the kids down to six after they have completed the first round. Then after the six kids do the second round, the judges count their scores and see who places. Our school had four people competing. They got sixth, sixth, fouth, and second. If you get first, you are the best of your group in southwestren PA for that year. I just want to say congratulations for everybody who competed.

All the seventh grade went on a retreat to Seton La Salle high school. We learned to always be a leader and to do the right thing. We also learned that(this kinda ties in to what Jasper was saying) there are homeless people out there and nobody is doing a thing about it. They are just researching stupid things. And if you see a homeless person on the streets, you don't have to give them money, but just say "hi" and pray for them.
